HIPAA

I am required by the State of Texas and the U.S. Congress to explain to you a general description of the psychotherapeutic process along with a series of laws and regulations that have been developed to insure your privacy. I am also required to obtain your signed agreement concerning the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the informed consent guidelines of the Texas State Board of Examiners Psychologists (TSBEP).
